Refund Policy / Force Majeure

The Ghost 'n Goblin™ 5k will not issue refunds for race entry fees, nor any other fees associated with the race. Each participant accepts that risk upon paying their entry fee. We will not offer complimentary race entries to a future race. We use all money collected for the race to develop and produce the event (including race supplies, infrastructure, and administration) and the proceeds benefit the non-profit Ohio River Road Runner's Club.

We pledge to make every effort to produce a fair, safe, fun, and exciting event for everyone. Any decisions we make for safety, fairness, or any other reason will not warrant a refund to any participant.

We do not have a rain date, and the race will proceed rain or shine, with the aforementioned safety concerns in mind. If there is lightning, we will delay the race until it is safe to proceed, so long as we have the permits and facilities to do so. In a force majeure situation, the race directors will act in the best interests of participants' and volunteers' safety.
